Many of you had the pleasure to work or go to school with Melissa "Missy" Morrow. For those who have not, she was a force of nature - full of energy and laughter, but focused and hardworking with a heart for people and mentorship. After attending undergraduate and law school at the University of Missouri, she worked as an attorney in Kansas City before joining the FBI as a Special Agent in 1995.
While assigned to the FBI in Washington, DC, Melissa was involved in the September 11, 2001 response at the Pentagon. Sadly, Melissa developed a service-connected brain cancer in 2016 and passed away in 2018. After her death, her name was added to the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, DC, the Missouri Law Enforcement Memorial, and the Kansas City, Missouri Law Enforcement Memorial. Although she accomplished so much in her 48 years, her work was not done.
In 2022, the Melissa S. Morrow Memorial Foundation was formed to continue her legacy of education, mentorship, and service to community. Contributions to the Melissa S. Morrow Foundation help fund a scholarship in Melissa's name at the University of Missouri Law School for a student interested in serving their community or working in civil service.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out about a tournament this year.
Unfortunately, there will not be a tournament this fall, but we hope to reconvene next Sept or October.
In the meantime, feel free to reach out with your preference of having it on a Sat from 9-12 or Sunday from 4-7. We have a lot of college and Chiefs football fans in our group! Thank you all for your continued support.
